Audio bug or setting problem
Hi all,
Really sorry if this has been solved but I can’t work out what category of problem it is.
On certain sequences my audio appears to not be linked, except it is linked and I can reveal it in the project and play it back, but on the timeline it looks like the image below. I’m working jointly on a project with someone and of 4 sequences, 3 are fine and 1 is having this problem. I’ve included some images which show how the waveform is showing as corrupt.
I’m hoping it’s just a setting I’m missing.
Using Macbook Pro retina (other guy is on a PC) shot on 7D. There are 3 kinds of audio, all with the same problem: Wav captured on Zoom H4N and synced manually/7D camera audio/mp3 files.
The project is fairly large (10×5 minute films with probably 20 minutes of rushes each). The problem is intermittent but once a sequence goes this way I can’t seem to get it back. It has happened before but I was able to start again. Not so this time. Like I say, this only affects certain sequences but it affects them TOTALLY!Any ideas? Thanks in advance and Max Respect
