Audio Analyzing Software?
Not a FCP question but figured the users of this forum might have an answer for me.
Working on large amounts of content being digitized using FCP and then being converted to mpg2 afterward. Having to QC this stuff takes time and are using multiple computers to watch the mpg files.
QUESTION:
does anyone know of a piece of software that would analyze the audio of the mpeg files? Really just need to check for “true” stereo (positive correlation between the channels). Right now we’re using Penguin Meter which works well and does the trick however it required being hooked up to a actual mixing board, so we are only able to use the FCP stations to check out the audio on this stuff (which is inconvenient because there’s other work being done in Edit bays at all times). Would be great if there was a piece of software that didn’t require being hooked up to a mixing board and was purely internal and would run on a PC.thanks in advance
