So as we all know Vegas 10 is the biggest disappointing disaster since…well version 9… Anyway I found yet another issue among the many hundreds I have had and subsequently reported with this program with no results.

I am working on a concert, and no matter where I click on the time line after a certain point, the audio always starts back at the beginning…REALLY…REALLY…

The video seems to be at the right point, but no matter where I click the audio always starts over. Now even though solving this problem will only slightly improve my Vegas 10 situation, I would appreciate any input anyone might have…and please don’t tell me to get a Mac, I will when I have the money I promise…

And if you see someone at the Sony Software booth during NAB beating software developers mercilessly, please pull me off of them before I get arrested!

    Have a GREAT weekend!

With your negative opening comments and your post being
filled with it, It seems odd that you would appreciate
any input anyone here might have.
It is a simple fix for what you are experiencing….BUT a
solution to it is not what your post is about.

You absolutely right Steve, my precious post was purely frustration based, and goes against the “spirit of the Cow” please take a moment to reply to my next post which more constructively describes my Vegas frustrations.

I’m having the exact same problem and can’t find the solution to this. Any help would be appreciated.

Oh yes I did find a solution…It’s called ADOBE PREMIERE! I Literally now have to take all of these different files that I am working with when doing multi-camera shoots, put them all into Premiere and and render them out to something that the ever-increasingly finicky Vegas will like BEFORE I can even make my first cut!

In this particular project I was working with ProRes, QT, AVI, MP-4…I literally had Vegas crash upon import EVERY TIME on certain QT files…THAT VEGAS CLAIMS TO FULLY SUPPORT! Put those same files in Premiere, no crashes, no weird audio glitches…Maybe CS6 will feature multi-camera editing similar to Vegas so I can say “Peace Out” to this dreadful program for good!
