Audio: 44,000khz or 48?
Posted by Charles Martin on November 20, 2010 at 4:16 pmI’ve always thought 48,000khz is required when editing/rendering video for NLE systems… is this the case?

Yes. The first thing I do after installing a new Vegas system is to change the default audio to 48K. I don’t know why Sony would select 44.1K as the default when it doesn’t match what cameras shoot. Maybe it’s for compatibility with really old sound cards? 48K is what you want.
