i know this is probably really obvious, but..
im editing a showreel to a music track, how can i stop the clips from splicing / overlaying their own audio track over the song whenever i make an edit? is there a way to stop it from automatically linking the audio and video?
    cheers,
    alex

    Hi,

See the track lights in the timeline? They’re the little purple squares that say V1 and A1 and A2 on them? If you turn off A1 and A2 on the source side (left side), then the source audio tracks won’t be laid in on the record side.

    Hopefully that made sense.

    good luck,
    Carl
