How do I raise the volume of a PORTION of an audio event? The wireless mic cut out in the middle of a live interview and the last 70% of the take was recorded on the on-camera mic, at a lower but usable volume.

Split out that portion of the event, right click, properties, normalize.
or
“V” key to insert a volume envelope, then put in nodes to raise that small section.

Or… Split out the segment. Move it to a new audio track and use the slider to increase the volume.

Thanks, Douglas. I split the event, selected the low-volume side, right clicked, chose switches and then normalize. Worked perfect. And thanks also for the “v” key. I will play with that and try to absorb its capabilities. Ken.

Thanks, Terry. I split the event and it was easier to just select the low-vol side and normalize that. Your approach would have given me more control over the volume.
