my audio seems to be lower in the viewer window… not much but noticeably… and this is before any adjustments have been made…
any help would be appreciated -

How are you monitoring your audio? What do your meters say?
What sort of system/footage, etc.?

lower than the timeline or canvass…. i am monitoring through the Lhe card to a mackie to maudio studio monitors and subwoofer…
meters say lower compared to canvass/timeline
i no that the viewer window previews video at a lower res so i am wondering if that is the same with the audio… i never paid super close attention to this… because i usually am remixing anyway…
