Audimute sound sheets
Hi, has anyone used the audimute sound absorption sheets? We’re renting an office soon and I’d like to dampen the verb a bit. I don’t expect VO booth silence, so these look like decent alternatives. These seem to get good reviews, especially in the mid-high dampening range. The panels look interesting as well….

Dampening has to do with moisture. Damping is the term your looking for. 🙂
There are may ways to knock down a slappy environment. Architecture, ceiling, wall and floor treatment heading the list. Well-designed foam is a good solution for broadband and upper frequencies, but don’t overdo it or your space will sound too dead. Build in some irregular shapes; book cases and other things to breakup the sound waves while you’re at it.

Thanks! I’ll probably get some Auralex foam that my mixer has turned me on to. I’d rather use that than ugly blankets anyways :).
