    Hello ppl/Bob,

Bob after reading a couple Q&A, I could do with some help if possible.

I have a Sonnet D800 storage drive with 8TB that was supplied with ATTO-R380 back in 2011

I have sold the Mac pro since i wasn’t using it and kept the mentioned above. Recently I purchased an iMac and was looking at hooking the storage to my new Mac, I found on-line Akitio Thunder2 PCIe Box Expansion Chassis reasonably priced compared to Sonnet solution.

Also, someone was saying ATTO 380 no longer is supported and will not work beyond OSx 10.8?

Any advice on whether my current plan will work? or should I just bin them?

    cheers.

you bought an iMac with thunderbolt 2.

Simple answer – buy an empty Thunderbolt 2 RAID chassis, and install your drives. Problem solved.

ps – you are on the wrong forum – you should be on the RAID forum.
