Attn: Jeff Dobrow – Pitch Update
First of all,
I have to apologize for posting this here. I misplaced Jeff’s email address and this is the only way I know to get in touch with him. So, Jeff if you are reading this….
The pitch for the television show was moved to Thursday (yesterday) instead of Tuesday and it went swimmingly. The Program Director said this was the BEST locally produced TV show that has ever come across his desk and it greatly exceeded his expectations.
From a context perspective, he said I had his interest the entire time and he was thoroughly entertained throughout the show. The next step is to get this in front of the GM. The GM is out of town but will be in on 08/08/05 and this will shown to him then. In the meantime, the PD is going to show it to the sales team and then present to the GM (so I may have to pitch again). So, the PD likes it a lot and thinks he has an ideal spot for the show but there are still two more hurdles I will have to jump before this happens. But the good news is that it didn’t suck! Thanks to you and Aharon for the input on the short, yet effective opener. Take care.

Congratz! That is great news man! Bet you were sweatin’ bullets…..but now it’s over,…and the ‘real’ work begins…….

I will definitely post any future work here and let you know how the meeting with the GM goes. Again, I couldn’t have created the show without the help of the COW and all the great advice and brilliant people here. Perhaps I can create a special category in the credits for
