  • Attenuation of audio out levels on decklink SP?

We are using a Decklink SP to monitor our audio levels while editing in FCP. The audio goes direkte from Declink SP to a PPM-meter (professional audio meter) and from there via a small mixer to the speakers.

Since we installed the Decklink SP the PPM-meter reads +6 dB to loud.
(-18 dB test in FCP comes out as -12 dB from the Decklink SP)

I would like to attenuate the decklink output signal (by exactly -6 dB) using the decklinks or macs software – but I can not make it work.

    Is it possible…how/where?

If not we’ll have to solve the problem using -6 dB XLR in-line attenuators but a software solution would be great.

We are using FCP 4.5 and 5, G5, OS 10.3 and Tiger.
