I have these graphs that I´m animating. They’re just rectangles, so I animate the height and width.

But I need some 3D text to stick to one surface, so that it sticks out, and moves with that surface. Like a sign attached to a moving wall.

How do I attach and object to a surface?

    Thanx! .)

As usual there are a number of ways to do it, but Xpresso is probably the most flexible. Here’s a sample file: https://www.3danvil.com/tutorials/stick%20text%20to%20graph%20bar.c4d

Basically what the Xpresso is doing is taking the Z position of a point at the end of the rectangle, subtracting the distance in Z to the text object, and then feeding that position to the text object’s Z coordinate.
