February 9, 2006 at 11:33 pmSorry…looking at the specs for that card now and I am not seeing anything you are mentioning. The ATI 9600 is a graphics card with an DVI, VGA and S-Video out. No component or SDI.
Are you sure you are talking about the 9600 GRAPHICS card? Graphics cards aren’t suitable for color correction output. You need an HD capture card, like the Decklink or AJA solutions.

February 9, 2006 at 11:33 pmThat’s wierd, I have an ATI 9600 and all it has is a DVI and a VGA connector. Are you sure you aren’t looking at some other card?

February 9, 2006 at 11:53 pmSounds like you have a Decklink card installed in there as well. Either an SD or HD card…they look the same from that angle.
What you need to do is ask the people who own the machine what card that is, and how to hook it up. if you don’t know, don’t do it.

February 10, 2006 at 12:02 amOK…yes…you are looking at the GRAPHICS CARD INFORMATION! The card you are describing is not a graphics card. Look at the back of the computer again…see where the computer monitors are connected? THAT is the graphics card that you are listing.
If you look in the profiler under PCI Cards, you will see one that says PCI-BRIDGE. That is the capture card, but doesn’t say what it is (I have a Decklink HD card installed).
You really need to ask the people who own this computer.
