At last MACROS in FCP!
All,
Well one of the most interesting things I saw at IBC this year was the ability to build macros for FCP.
Now you might be able to do this with Quickeys or similar, but I bet you can’t assign the macro to a button on a touch screen interface eh?I took a look at MC Control
https://www.euphonix.com/artist/products/mc_control/You can build macros within the software, so imagine all those really tedious tasks being stacked up and executed with one touch.
I’ve yet to fully get my head round what you can do and maybe I might get one for a bit of a review 🙂

according to euphonix the MC is in HUI emulation in FCP not EuCon. I’m not sure that means macros but more like assignable buttons to keyboard commands

I built a 4 line macro on the stand and assigned it to a button.
The macros can be huge and can be nested – I watched the video 🙂Peter

surely you can assign a QuicKeys (or similar) macro to ANY control surface with programable buttons?
i could assign a thousand step macro with nested macros inside it to a mouse button if i wanted to.but the thing sure looks pretty 🙂
