I feel like this might be a newbie question but I’m primarily an Avid and FCP editor. I can’t seem to figure out a way to assign a keyboard shortcut without losing the existing shortcut. For example: In Avid, IN and OUT are I and O, but also E and R. I like to do something similar when editing in FCP because of where I position my hands on the keyboard.

But when I go to change shortcuts (annoying interface for that BTW), it will assign a new shortcut, but at the expense of losing the old shortcut. Surely Premiere isn’t forcing a single key per shortcut?
