  • Assign shortcut to timeline and composition viewer panels

Posted by Sébastien Lavoie on March 15, 2013 at 1:11 pm

There are already shortcuts to toggle most panels, but it seems like there isn’t any shortcut to focus the timeline and composition/layer viewer panel. Is there a way I could adjust my shortcuts file to assign such shortcuts? Or am I just missing something?

    Thanks.

The Timeline is Shift+3. I’m not sure what you mean by the compositor/layers panel, Effects Control?

Is it new in CS6, because my Shift+3 is (by default) affected to Comp marker 3 here’s the text from the shortcut file : "CompMarker3" = "(Shift+3)" I have searched for the name of the action to focus the pannel but can’t find it. And for the second thing I was talking about the viewer pannel.

I’m guessing my English keyboard might be set up like yours.
