Assign Pre Render Shortcut Key?
Hey guys!
So I just got a new laptop for video editing and visual effects, and I am very happy with it, other then is dose not have a number lock key. Stupidist thing in the world, but I cant do much about that right now.
My problem is that I cannot use the 0 key for pre rendering….. Makes after effects a bit more complicated.Trying to figure out a way to set up a new shortcut key for pre render. Cant figure out a way to do that =/ Adobe suggests I use the KeyEd script. I downloaded it. But have no idea whats going on with it.
Any one have any idea’s?I’m using After Effects CS5.5 on Windows 7 btw.

0 on the numeric keyboard is used for RAM Preview, on my laptop (a Mac) control + 0 invokes RAM preview.

Ahhh! thank you, I could not find that anywhere. Still dose not fix my numberpad assignment, but I was able to assign preview to tab until the laptop manufacturer fixes this problem with a bios. Thank you very much.
