Hi, I am doing a simple 2D animation of wind farms and having a strange problem where the turbines are just disappearing.
Its a basic comp .. no settings used apart from Rotation on the wind turbine blades .. I have attached a link to example .. I rebuilt the comp from scratch and it worked fine, then when I re opened the build this morning, the problem is back.. Basically the Blades are disappearing and then coming back .. Very strange .. Only just upgraded to CC2017.

You can see the error here –

Have you tried clearing your cache?

Any chance you can reduce the project to just that comp with assets and post it so we can take a look?

Please file a bug and send this project to Adobe:
    https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

I see the exact same objects cutting in and out that you do. Which ones cut out, and where they cut out, seems to eb dependent on the viewer resolution.

This works fine in 2015.3. I’d suggest saving down (File > Save as > Save a copy as (CC 13)…) and working there. If you need to install Ae CC 2015, you can find the instructions for installing previous versions here:
    https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/download-install-app.html#Installpreviousversionsofapps

You can install multiple versions side-by-side if you want.

OK many thanks for your response .. I’ll work the turbines up in an older AE and use them as a quicktime I think .. the rest of the build is fine and I’m against the clock.

    Cheers

    Try with this one.
I don’t know what you did but I recreated what you did from scratch and this way it works fine.

Can you please give me feedback if it works that way for you?

My bad, even this version when rendering gives the same issues…

Does the problem go away if you disable the Hardware Accelerate Composition, Layer, and Footage Panels option in Preferences > Display?
