Aspect Ratio shift
Hi,
Editing RED footage (transcoded to ProRes 422) in FCP. I have no external monitor attached (this edit is for the web only), and so I view full screen using my Apple 30″ and the Digital Cinema Preview Desktop Main setting. It’s fine when at rest, but as soon as I play – the picture stretches vertically and get’s darker. What’s going on?!
