Aspect Ratio rendering issue
Hello.
Hoping for help pls.
When I export a movie from Adobe Premier Pro CS3 it always shows as 4:3 but I want it to be in 16:9.
My project settings are DV PAL 720×576 Widescreen Pixel 1.422 which should be 16:9, I export as a quicktime movie using the same settings 1.422 720×576 Sorenson video as a compressor but it doesn’t export as 16:9 and always comes out as 4:3. I’ve made sure the footage is set to DV PAL widescreen etc using both interpret this footage and right clicking and setting scale to frame size but no success. The preview window is 16:9 and shows the footage fitting it but the exported video has squashed the footage into 4:3 it doesn’t letterbox or pillarbox at all.
I’ve had a look at my settings in Quicktime player but it doesn’t seem to be interpreting incorrectly although there doesn’t seem to be a manual override to change between 16:9 and 4:3 as I guess it reads the file specifics. The movies show as 720×576 in quicktime player.
Any help would be massively appreciated.
