    Aspect ratio question

    I have a client working in FCP on an 720×480 widescreen anamorphic timeline. I am giving him renders in the DV widescreen comp setting. But he is telling me the files are 4:3 and he has to scale them up. Can anyone shed some light as to what is happening here?

    Try opening your files in Quicktime player before sending them….if the Qauicktime player displays them correctly, and the info on the clip is correct, then the problem is on his/her end. If it is not correct, then your render settings are not right.
