This movie I’m making needs to end up on a widescreen, aspect ratio of 16:9. So I used the preset called “NTSC D1 Widescreen” which then says on the bottom “frame aspect ratio: 16:9” but when I bring in an Illustrator file (logo), it gets distorted veritcally. What am I doing wrong? I tried to set the frame aspect ratio to “square pixels”, but then it says (to the right of the “Pixel Aspect Ratio” pop-up menu) the ratio is 40:27. So I have a few questions here: 1) Should I have it square or non-square pixels? If I have it non-square, how can I set artwork not to distort? 2) if I have square pixels, how do I get that aspect ratio of 16:9?

    I hope I’m clear enough.

    Any help appreciated,
    -A.N.
