Aspect Ratio Conversion
I recently shot a live concert and upon reviewing the footage unfortunately discovered that one of the seven cameras was shooting in Full Screen, while the rest were in Letterbox (a gross oversight by my AD).
Is there a way to convert that Fullscreen footage into Letterbox without compromising the footage? Or do I have to pan and scan and choose where and what to cut?

Are the other cameras Letterbox (4:3 with black mask) or 16:9.
To convert full screen to letterbox you can just mask it, raising the image up and down to frame shoot. If you need to convert 4:3 to 16:9 you have a major challenge on your hand. You have to scale the footage up 133% to make the aspect look correctly.
IF the latter, the best way to do it is to run it through hardware that can to the upres and aspect change. I have done it going from system to system Play the footage out of a system with the kona3 card that makes the conversion to a laptop that captures with the Io. But you lose the top and bottom of your picture.
