I am trying to capture 4:3 and 16:9 material for use in the same sequence. Is that possible in FCP5 and with the LH card? I have worked in the firewire world and trying to get adjusted to the BIG DOG world. Please share your workflow, it would greatly help!

Is this HD? I simply capture the 4:3 in Pillarbox mode but allow the Kona to upconvert the footage to HD. We edit in a 16:9 standard HD timeline and either fill the space with a graphic or a blurred duplicate of the same 4:3 image.

A little more info is needed.

    1) Is this anamorphic SD or HD 16:9?
    2) What is desired editing base (525, 720, 1080)?
