    Hello, COW Team,
I’m writing about a specific question that’s bothering me, even though it’s not fully related to the subject of this site. My question is, what do I have to study in order to become someone, that’s creating CGI for movies? How does CGI itself work, what do you call the occupation of someone that works to create CGI?
As you can see, my knowledge on this topic is minimal, even though I have the desire to do this kind of work, but I don’t know what does this work itself take.
Thank You in advance for Your reply.

It’s called VFX (i.e. visual effects), and you either go to a school that specializes in VFX or start at the very bottom working for a company that specializes in VFX.

    Oleg,

Please use the Cow search function and search for VFX.
