  ASIO driver change? I didn’t touch it! HELP

  Hi there
  ANY HELP GREATLY APPRECIATED
  When I open the project (as normal) the clips of footage neither play in the Viewer or on the timeline

  the error message said:

  THE PREVIOUSLY SELECTED ASIO DRIVER COULD NOT BE LOADED AND MAY BE IN USE BY ANOTHER APPLCIATION. THE DEFAULT ASIO DRIVER IS NOW IN USE.

  however, when I create a new project, I can play the clip in that project…but not the original project.

  has anyone experienced this?
  i havent changed the driver manually at all, nor changed the clip source roots
