  .asf to MPEG 4?

  .asf is a streaming codec by Windows Media. tried converting to .wmv and MPEG 4 using Cleaner XL (Win version). Looks like instead of keyframing it takes a “snapshot” every 10-30 seconds.
  Is the conversion possible or is there some proprietary data encoded to prevent converting to another file format?
  Any ideas out there?
