    Artifacts when using KVM

    Hi,

    I’m having artifacts in the viewer window when using using KVM with FCP running. No artifacts on the decklink preview monitor. It works after restarting FCP. KVM is using USB/DVI. Any solutions out there?

    Stop using the KVM?

    Seriously, Although they sound great, they apparently don’t work so well. I (foolishly) bought a CompuCable KVM switch and it’s pretty much junk.

    I run a pair of Belkins between my two machines (both dual monitor) and they work just fine. FWIW
