Am working with stills from miniDV in a design for a DVD jacket. Whenever I change the image mode from RGB to CMYK I get large areas of artifacts.

I need a fix for this. I’ve already tried just using the RGB and it looks great in the Illustrator file but when I save as a PDF the images is way too green so I cannot use this as a work around.

    Any other suggestions?

    Please help,

You need to check for out of gamut colors by turning preview on and manually desaturating those areas before conversion
