Artifacting on P2 clips??
I just spent the last 3 days in intensive sessions with the P2 and have “found” 3 clips with “noise” on one or more frames. There may be more… the edit process willl tell.
The “noise” is in the form of 12 or so evenly placed horizontal chunks in the frame. In two of the instances it is only for one frame, and in one instance it is slightly visable in one frame and the next it is “full strength”.
I was shooting in 1080/24p mode shooting to 4gig cards. I did not track the problem to see if it was an issue with a particular card… we were rotating 3 card during the shoots. The unit is a rental but was new out of the box for my rental (I helped them do the initial bench test).
Has anyone had this experience?

Post a still- hard to tell if this is a camera flaw, codec issue, P2 error, etc without seeing it.
