    If you go to B&H Photo’s web site and search for “Arri Softbank D1” you’ll find two listings. One kit costs $1937.95. The other kit cost $1789.95.

    I’m about to reveal my ignorance here: What’s the difference between these two kits??? They look identical to me!?

    Voltage.

    ARSDB1K is a 120 vac unit, ARSDB1KX is 220 volts – sockets,plugs and lamps are different. Note the 650 watt lamp – CP89 is rated at 220vac, FRK is rated at 120vac.
