ARRI Highspeed Camera-Tiff Sequences
Hi All,
I’m working with footage from an Arri Highspeed camera. It’s recorded all the footage into Tiff Sequences.
However when I transcode these to Proress HQ they look juttery and don’t run smooth. They’re also telling me they’re 15fps.I was wondering if any one could tell me the correct workflow with FCP to deal with the footage.

My guess
1) you are at the wrong frame size- FCP functions best with 1080 or 720 HD formats-
2) You do not mention how you converted to which version of ProRes or what the frame rate is if you are working with.
if you are not sure
try 1920×1080 at 23.98 (or 25) and Use ProRes Standard to start your tests – the playback issue is Drive Speed and yours are not fast enough to playback at full speed.gary adcock
