Posted by Peszteres László on March 7, 2011 at 9:55 amHi,
Always crash when I try opening the Arri-Alexa C-log QuickTime/ProRes 4:4:4 video files in the Davinci-Resolve browser.

March 22, 2011 at 7:18 amIs this a Resolve on Mac? In that case if you have FCP correctly installed, ProRes files should open normally. On the other hand if it’s a Resolve on Linux, I think that doesn’t support ProRes.

March 24, 2011 at 4:33 amAre the ProRes4444 files on a Mac formatted drive? Is it free of errors? Do the files open fine in FCP/QT?
What version of Resolve do you have? Try upgrading to the latest. Also ensure you have all the latest upgrades of FCP, MacOSX and QT.
