I have around 100 layers (photos of album covers 200×200 pixels each) and I want to arrange them so that they form a 3D cube of 10 x 10 layers, so you have a matrix of ten at the front, another ten just behind, another ten behind them and so on, so that the cube has a width, depth and height of ten layers, with say around a 20 pixel space between them.

To help visualise what I mean, here’s an image to demonstrate: https://tinyurl.com/cssp9xb

Substitute the spheres for a small 200×200 flat image of course. 🙂

I could do this manually, and it would be and easy but very time-consuming job, and there’s the prospect of me having to make 1/2 dozen more similar comps, so I’m wondering if anyone knows a good workflow for this, or perhaps there’s a script out there somewhere that could do most of the groundwork?
