Whenever I dynamic link a bunch of clips from Premiere into AE, the clips are arranged all over the place in the timeline. Is there a quick way I can order the layers/clips like a staircase, which is a lot easier to navigate? It’s definitely time consuming to move each clip/layer when you’ve got 30+ to move around.

Check out the rd: Kinda Sorta script [link], which can do exactly this.

It’s free, but please note the #devforacause terms — the author asks that you make a contribution to a charity important to you in lieu of payment.
