The “arm for record” option is greyed out on Vegas 10 (64 bit). Same problem with Sound Forge Pro. So I think this is a computer issue, not a Vegas/Sound Forge issue.

I’m running on an i7 machine with 16 gig memory. Windows 7 professional. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks.

Have you ever recorded to this PC?

    Graham,

I think I have recorded to this PC. It has been in use for a year. So i think I have.

I figured it out. Another program I installed a little while ago had changed my audio input settings. Things are OK.

    Thanks.

Well, something has changed then. Are your inputs into Vegas/SF as per required?
