So I’m happily script synching away on a 2 hour long interview. 28 or 30 clips are assigned to the transcript and I get to the last two clips of interview and there is no transcript for it???? Somehow it got emitted in the creation of the transcript. Is there a way to add the last bits of transcript, re-import the correct transcript and move all my work of assigning the clips to it? Or do I have to start all over again?

Just copy/paste the missing section into the already synced script.

Wait a second. Do you mean I can change the script once it is in Avid and within Avid?

You can’t edit text directly, but you can extract, copy, and paste from external document where changes can be made. You can insert a block of text and everything moves down and remain in sync. Then you can just choose to sync between existing marks (in settings if I remember correctly).
