  • Are issues with E-Series P2 Cards Resolved?

Posted by Isaac Brillant on January 1, 2010 at 2:19 am

    Hi,

I saw some posts from last August regarding problems recording in Variable Frame Rate modes on the E-series cards, and that there would be an udate for all the cameras shortly. Does anyone know if these issues have been resolved since August?

Also, since a used E series card couldn’t have been used more that 6 months, being that they only came out in June, should I be OK buying P2 cards in the used department at B&H?

What would be a good method for testing them?

    Thanks for the help

The issues have been solved so long as you update the firmware on your camera/device.

I see no problem buying used. $450 is a very good price for the 32GB card. You better buy it before I do. I can always sell you one or more of my 7 16GB R series.

Using them in the camera would be the only way to test them.
