We need to find a quick way to archive a project including media so that we can later go back and re-edit a project to update it.

I’ve tried the saves as with copy and trim media box marked and it helps a lot.
What I need is to find a way so that all media copied goes into a new folder. The AVI’s get a new date but the jpg’s don’t which makes it harder to gatehr them into a new folder.

    Any successes out there?

    Thanks
    Larry

I do this quite often, and save the entire project onto a new hard disk and new folder.

Whatever folder you specify when you “save as”, it will put all the files there.

But a note of caution: if you save more than one veg to that folder it will just dump all the data together — which sometimes is OK if you have a big project in several vegs.
