    Archiving Question

    I’ve been saving my Video_TS files for my SD stuff and BDMV files for the BluRay’s as a hedge against more future disasters. Is it possible to just archive the asset file and forego the process of pulling the BDMV or Video_TS files?

    Make a digital MOV master of the finished program.

    Keep card media master or the raw footage tapes from the camera.
    Keep projects backed up. They link to the masters for re-loading if need be.
