Archive storage solution–in the cloud?
Hi,
I’m a freelancer, and am looking for a good solution for storage to use for archive of finished projects. I don’t have the budget to spend like a larger company or business but the content is still important to me and I want something safe and reliable.
I would probably be satisfied having a shelf full of internal drives except that drives fail (and I’m especially worried about them if not used for years) and there wouldn’t be a backup unless I spent more on drives (that might fail). And I can’t justify LTO due to the cost to buy in.
I thought the cloud could work well, but I think I will also need a reasonable way to ship them a drive to upload periodically due to the size of my projects.
What are you guys doing for this?

Look at Backblaze. I use them and LTO-5 drives which are now much lower in cost.
