    Hey All,
I’m trying to Archive a FINAL master sequence in Final Cut Pro 6.0.5
What I’d like to end up with is a project of my current MASTER sequence with master clips of 1 sec. handles (essentially doing what AVID calls a CONSOLIDATE)
The entire project Media is 90GB’s and when I select the sequence go to media manager select COPY, set handles the bar says it will COPY 70GB?

Im a bit confused as to why it’s giving me such a high number. I suspect the resulting media should be around 10GB.

    Any thoughts?

    Nevermind! I figured it out.
I selected right-clicked the sequence and selected MAKE CLIPS INDEPENDENT. Then with the sequence still selected went to media manager and selected COPY from the menu and all is well.
