Recently I decided it was time to learn a little about Architect and the last couple days tried burning a disk with architect. I had been using Windows 7 dvd maker. Works great, simple and easy to use. The first few times I burnt a disk with Architect there was no problem. After using it again after a break of some weeks it will write to a disk but when the disk is ejected it says that the disk is not compatable with the drive. However it writes to it and it plays ok on my TV so something is mixed up. I wrote the same program with Windows ok. However when I tried burning a movie an hour and 33 minutes long. It wrote to the disk but it would not play on any TV. It did say at the start that the file was bigger the the disk capacity. It didn’t refuse to write as Windows does so I supposed it compressed it some how to get it into the disk or it would refuse to write to the disk. At the end it ejected the disk and said it was not compatable with the drive. But I could see it had written to the disk.
when I first installed Vegas 9 Premium it would offer to send it to Architect. Now when I click on “make a movie” it does not ask to send to Architect. What I do now is save to disk and use windows movie maker to get it on the disk. These are Tayio Uden disks like I have used for hundreds of disks. My DVD Identifier agrees they are Tayio Uden. I think the definition was somewhat better than Windows so I’d like to start using Architect if I can make it work. have a nice day.
