  • Architect 5.2 not reading audio AC3 file

Using Architect 5.2 I opened the program for a Bluray burn. I selected a AVC file, but the audio AC3 file that goes with it was not imported. (no audio track).

I have saved by the same name, there are in the same folder, so I do not know what is wrong. The AVC file is large (8.5g) so when I selected it, it comes up “information missing or not available” I am not sure of the exact verbage, I am not at the computer. But the file eventually opens in Architect, but not the audio.

I am thinking that it needs to get the information first, before it can select the audio and that is why it is not getting it. But once I select it automatically goes to putting the file in the Arch. time line. (That does take a while… I get a message not responding… but if I leave it alone for a while, a few minutes it appears)

So any thoughts here would be appreciated

I too have noticed that behaviour of DVDA, but then again I am not running the latest build level of DVDA (133). Even though you may have 5.2, it is worth checking the downloads page to confirm you have the latest build for 5.2.

My system specs: Intel i7 970, 12GB RAM, ASUS P6T, Vegas Pro 10e (x32/x64), Windows 7 x64 Ultimate, Vegas Production Assistant 1.0, VASST Ultimate S Pro 4.1, Neat Video Pro 2.6
