    Here’s one for you..
I have 3D comp, a long corridor which the camera will fly down (or rather the room will move fowards using a null for simplicity) the floor and the wall and the back wall are all in place and the ceiling would be except we want to have it curved rather than a flat ceiling. I have had some success uning cc cylinder and masking the bottom half to make a curved ceiling. While i may be able to get this to work, i was wondering if anybody might be able to sugest any other ways. Preferably simpler.

    thanks

When AE first flirted into the 3D world, Brian Maffit, and others of his skill level, worked hard to create curved planes using dozens of small layers. They parented the layers to paths that could be bent. I never understood the process well enough to copy it.

Total Training might have some tutorials on the topic still available, dunno.

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”

Thank you both for your input..
(un)fortunaetly the idea was pulled after a days work with cc cylinder and all the problems that came with it…….

    cheers
