Is it possible to set DEFAULTS for the menu’s created by the Insert Scene Selection Menu?
All images are postage size, and I want to max out the real-estate.

I’d also like a 2×2 array of buttons, instead of the 1×4 set of buttons.

I also dont want a title in each of the created menu’s

    thanks for any insight.

Yes it’s possible. Check out Chapter 10: Using Masks, Menus, and Themes in the DVD Architect Pro manual. There is a section called Creating Custom Themes that will tell you how to set up your own themes with layouts the way you want. It is not trivial and you will need to hand-code some XML to really get what you want.

Well, you are, in part correct. Chapter 10 does appear to have some info on how to do such things. BUT it does leave a bit of information out. Yes, default.xml in the theme (.thm) file does show how Architect defines themes, it really does not explain any of the xml ELEMENTS, or xml Attributes to those capabilities.

    For Instance what does DVDA-THEME.MENU.LAYOUT.GRID.SETTINGS.MARGIN = .1, .1, .9, .9 mean or do.

XML just defines the grammer. Where is the dictionary that defines, and explains what all the elements are.

This is good feedback for Sony and you should contact them with your questions. Unfortunately, I don’t know what all the XML syntax means.

    >XML syntax means
Not really necessary. there a some WEB editing tools that can assist. I use “XML notepad 2007” ( downloaded directly from microsoft) to edit the “default.xml” file’s found in the various Architect Pro theme’s (.thm).

The is just no Dictionary that explains the various variables, and flags, and settings.

There appears to be a document on page https://www.sonycreativesoftware.com/download/updates/vegasfamily under DVD Architect 2.0 called “XML Theme Specification” . its from 2004 though.
