apps will not open?
greetings. all of my final cut studio apps have been opening and working fine. except motion. when i try to open the app, it pops up from the dock and thats it. the program doesn’t open? i even reinstalled motion from the final cut studio disks…still no luck. I have done all the updates. any ideas?

I’d start by deleting the “com.apple.motion.plist” found in your Home Folder > Library > System Preferences and then launch Motion again. If that doesn’t work let us know and maybe we can come up with a few other things to try (third party plugins, codecs, and fonts can all cause similar issues, as can lack of memory, hard drive space or bad RAM).
