I am trying to apply the same transition to approx 500 stills.Within Adobe Prem Pro How can this be done without having to add each transition manually. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks

The best way to accomplish this task would be to use the Automate to Sequence option. Essentially, what you do is:

    a) Place all your stills in the project window into a separate bin
    b) Select ‘Automate to Sequence’ via the flyout menu option of the project window.

This process will add the default transition between all images.

    hi
i am on a limb here, since i have just begun working with premiere 7. as a sound engineer, i am just trying to produce some raw footage of my time in beijing (now living).
ok, the prob is this, i am trying to use “picture in picture”, meaning i want the final image to have 2 or more images running at the same time, something “24” (sutherland, keifer) used to great effect. it was easy to do in my old winproducer software, but i can’t get my mind around it here.
you seem to have an idea of how to use premiere, and when i saw your answer in relation to setting transitions from stills figured you to have a mantle on many aspects of the program.
    i am using version 7.0 or premiere….
please reply either here or in fact to my email account if you feel you can lend assistance
    see ya and regards
