applying tracker info to mask shape/position
hey all,
ive recently transitioned to AE 6.5 from Commotion in order to support 16 bit files. Im wondering if AE has a simple way of applying trackers to masks, as in Commotion(scale,shape, and location)?any help would be greatly appreciated.

Nope, you can’t track masks directly without third-party tools. All you can do is track the layers that holds the mask. In case you need to directly access masks, try to pick up Useful Things or Expression Effects, both of which are no longer officially around, though.
