  • Applying one Graphic move to many layers…

    Hi Guys…

I made a tect element in Photoshop and split each char into a seperate layer.

I brought the PSD into Xpress Pro as a sequence of layers (cool).

I go to the first layer and animate it using the position controls built into the Matte Key effect.

Now I want to apply the indentcal move to every layer with the intention of offsetting each layer in time.

So in my effects window, I drag the effect Icon to a bin.

Now I go the next layer, delete the default matte key effect applied to the layer…

But I can’t seem to apply the previously created effect to clip on track 2 (etc)…

    what gives?

    your help is appreciated…

I think what you need to do is go to the first effect, open the effects editor, on a PC hold down “alt” and then drag the effect into a bin. This should give you the effect without source. Then you should be able to drop this right onto the other effects, no need to delete the current mattes.
